As a professional dancer, Ai Koyama works mainly for compagnie Linga over 16 years, traveled and performed at various places and theaters in the world, has participated in many international dance festivals and cultural events. She works for compagnie Linga (CH) since 2007, and works also for Nicole Seiler (CH), Heddy Maalem (FR), United Cowboys (NL), and for many other projects collaborated with artists independent.

As a Choreographer, her piece “Ballad” was nominated for the International Contemporary Dance Festival in Canary Islands “Masdanza15”(ES) in 2010. 

More than 15 years, Ai Koyama teaches Contemporary Dance, Dance Improvisation, Contact Improvisation, and Classic Ballet for professionals, adults, kids, and athletes in Japan, Netherlands, and Switzerland.

She started Jazz Dance at the age of 4, and Classic Ballet at the age of 5 by Tatuo Kasuya in Mito in Japan. Recieved Bachelor of Art [B.A. Dance and Dance Educator] at Ochanomizu University (Department of Performing Arts) in Tokyo, and Bachelor of Art [B.A. Choreographer and Dancer] at Amsterdam University of the Arts (Academy of Theatre and Dance – SNDO-Choreography) in Amsterdam. Titled <Health fitness programmer> by JAPAN HEALTH PROMOTION & FITNESS FOUNDATION.
